From 1993 to 2000, I
studied Engineering in the Ecole Centrale de Nantes (undergraduate),
and, from 1997 to 2000 as a Ph.D. student in the signal processing
group at IRCCyN. From October 2000 to September 2001, I was a Research
Associate at the Signal Processing Group, Department of Engineering,
University of Cambridge. In October 2001, I became a CNRS full time
Researcher at IRCCyN/CNRS, France. From February 2004, I have joined
the LAGIS laboratory in Lille, France, still as a CNRS
researcher. On June 20th, 2006, I obtained the
"Habilitation a diriger des recherches (HDR)", from the Universite des
Sciences et Technologies de Lille (manuscript now downloadable on
Publications page), and I am "qualifie aux fonctions de Professeur" in
CNU sections 26 and 61. Since October 2006, I am an associate editor
for the IEEE transactions on Signal Processing. From June 2007, I am creating a new company nammed Predict&Control, where I am the Scientific Director![]()
My research activities is concerned with Kernel Methods in Signal Processing, Bayesian analysis of Time series, MonteCarlo and Sequential Monte Carlo Methods , Time-Frequency Analysis and audio signals (Music, environmental noise, speech).
From April 2006, I have joined the new INRIA-FUTURS research project SequeL
devoted to sequential learning. SequeL Web Site is here.
I have several research collaborations with industrial partners, among which France Telecom R&D (Lannion), Auchan (Lille), Neutrik Test Instruments (Liechtenstein)
I am the co-founder and scientific director of Predict&Control
